At night of Full Moon
A "night walk" through nature is being held on the night of the full moon. I thought about participating, but could not resist the cold. I walked to my neighborhood and took one photo. I was satisfied because this was a surprisingly beautiful shot. When I was young, on nights with a full moon, I would continue to climb the trail to my destination by the light of the moon. I had such an experience. The light of the full moon was so bright that I could find the trail even without a headlamp. The moonlight also made a lot of strange shadows in the overgrown trees, which sometimes scared me. Still, when we reached the summit, the full moon shining high above our heads was a sight that only those who had made the climb could enjoy.
Today, I went to "Utsukushimori(beautiful forest)" located a short distance from Kiyosato. It is a small hill at an elevation of 1542 meters, formed by the isolation of a part of the east ridge of Mt.Akadake, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the observatory at the top of the mountain. I heard that there are many tourists when the azaleas are in full bloom, but today, the branches of the trees were still frozen and looked like a world of white. As we walked up the wooden path, we were supposed to see the observation deck of the best soft-serve ice cream shop in Japan, but no one was there because the shop was closed for the winter. It was a little sad. From the observation deck, we could see as far as Mt. On the way back, we returned to Kobuchizawa from Kiyosato while listening to birds singing. I recommend that you come well-equipped for hiking.
