Yatsudake Shrine
The date of its foundation is unknown, but according to documents, it is estimated to be about 1,000 years ago, in the second year of the reign of the 60th Emperor Daigo. Initially, the shrine enshrined Takenomikata no Kami (God of Thunder), and in Tensho 3, the spirit of Yagoro was enshrined and the shrine was called Yagoro Shrine. According to documents from the Bunka era and the 8th year of the Keicho era, the shrine was given the black seal of 5 to 4 shaku of divine domain and 15867㎡ of shrine land. In 1877, the shrine building was burned down, but was rebuilt to become the present shrine building. (Quoted from the Yamanashi Prefectural Shrine Office)
